Privacy Policy

The short version

Your invoice data never leaves your browser. InvoiceCraft is a static web application: the invoice form, the live preview and the PDF export all run locally on your device. We operate no database, no accounts and no server-side processing of invoice contents. We could not read your invoices even if we tried.

What is stored, and where

To make the tool convenient, your current invoice draft (issuer and client details, line items, notes and an optional logo you upload) is saved in your browser's localStorage under the key invoice-generator:draft:v1. This data:

• stays on your device, inside this browser and this origin;
• is never transmitted to us or to any third party by the tool itself;
• can be erased at any time with the Clear form button or by clearing your browser site data.

Logos and uploaded files

If you upload a logo, it is read in your browser, converted to a data URL, shown in the preview and embedded in the PDF you generate. It is stored only in the same local draft described above and is never uploaded anywhere.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site is free and displays advertising to cover its costs. When enabled, ads are served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads, subject to Google's own policies. You can learn more and control ad personalization in Google Ads Settings. Advertising networks never receive your invoice contents from us, because that data never leaves your browser.

Analytics

If privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics are enabled in the future, they will never include invoice contents, and this policy will be updated before that happens.

Your choices

• Clear your data: use the Clear form button, or delete site data for this site in your browser settings.
• Block cookies: the tool itself works without cookies; ad-related cookies can be controlled in your browser and via Google Ads Settings.
• Do Not Track: we do not track you across sites.
